If you're dreaming of a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Ruby is your girl. This sweet, gentle soul has mastered the art of contentment—she's happiest curling up next to you for endless cuddles, following you from room to room, or soaking up sunshine during leisurely walks.
Ruby is possibly the cuddliest dog you'll ever meet. At night, she'll snuggle so close she sleeps across her person's neck. If there's an opportunity to be touching you, she'll take it—this girl is ALL about the cuddles and physical affection.
When Ruby first came into our care, she was hard of hearing due to very swollen ear canals. Thanks to steroid ear drops, she's improved tremendously and can now hear quite well! She'll need to continue ear drops twice weekly ongoing to maintain her progress.
What Ruby Loves:
- Being your constant, loyal companion (seriously, maximum cuddles at all times!)

- "Helping" with laundry (she's an enthusiastic basket inspector!)
Ruby has medium energy and is generally quiet—though she will alert you when someone comes to the door. She's a sensitive soul who thrives on gentle, positive guidance. She's crate trained, doing great with house training, and walks beautifully on leash. She's wonderful with other dogs (and loves playtime with them!) and cats. While she's initially shy with new people, she warms up quickly—often within just two visits.
