This handsome boy is looking for the forever family he so desperately deserves. Milo is an energetic, cuddly sweetheart who loves nothing more than being close to his people — walks, fetch (he could play ALL day), learning new tricks, and snuggling at the end of it all.

Milo came from a rough start, and it shows in the sweetest way — how fast he learned to trust and love his people. He's still building his confidence, and it grows every day. He can be shy and fearful around new faces and new dogs at first, and needs a confident, patient handler to help him feel safe. Once he trusts you, though, he's playful, affectionate, and full of joy.

Fully potty trained, learning to love his crate (settles well after exercise)
Great with his senior canine housemate, but needs slow, careful intros to new dogs and people
A true working breed — he needs LOTS of physical and mental exercise or he gets boisterous indoors
A total angel in the car
Smart, food/toy motivated, and eager to learn
Working through some fears (stairs are a big one!) and building confidence daily
Best suited to an experienced, active family — older or very dog-savvy kids, no cats

Milo isn't a "no work required" dog, but he is a "give me a chance and I'll give you everything" dog. He just needs someone who understands working breeds and is ready to help him become the confident, joyful boy he's meant to be.
