The sweetest little girl ever! Josie is a cuddly, outgoing, and playful puppy who's ready to steal your heart and bring endless joy to your home. This happy little girl is the perfect combination of snuggly companion and playful pup. She loves nothing more than cuddling with her people and playing with her foster siblings, especially when they can romp around outside together. Josie has that wonderful puppy energy – she'll play hard for 10-15 minutes, then happily settle in for a nap or cuddle session. She also loves chewing on her favourite toys.

Josie is a smart cookie who's making great progress with her training! She's starting to understand basic commands like "sit" and "come," and she's learning to recognize her name. While she's not fully potty trained yet, she's doing wonderfully with 5-6 potty breaks throughout the day and is beginning to understand the concept of going to the door by following her foster siblings. She is still working on crate training, and sleeps happily in her dog bed during the night. She is also working on her leash manners. 

This social butterfly loves meeting new people and soaking up all the attention she can get! She's fantastic with children and adores playing with other dogs. Josie does show some mild separation anxiety when her favourite humans leave the room, but she settles quickly when given attention from others in the household.

Josie would thrive in a home with:

- Someone home frequently to continue her potty training journey

- Another young dog or children to be her playmates and role models

- A fenced yard where she can run free and explore safely

- Patient adopters ready to help her learn leash manners and basic training - someone who will take her to puppy classes

We are expecting that she will be around 15lbs when full grown. She has had her first set of vaccines, dewormer and is microchipped. She will need to have her second and third set of vaccines and her spay at our partner clinic in Owen Sound or Mississauga. The cost of these will be covered by the rescue and will need to be booked in advance. Her adoption fee is $1,000 plus a $200 deposit which will be returned once she has been spayed.
