Meet Gregory, the Ultimate Velcro Dog!

If you're looking for a dog who wants to be as close to you as possible, Gregory is your guy. He'll lean into you and gaze up with the most loving eyes you've ever seen. He may just be the most affectionate dog ever, and his favourite place in the world is right beside his person.

Gregory is cuddly, calm, and a little shy. He's a medium-energy guy who gets about 60 minutes of walking a day, plus some time in the fenced yard, which he loves. He's good with other dogs and cats, and doesn't guard anything. He hasn't met any kids yet, but we think he'd likely do well with kids 10+. He's great in the car, too!

Gregory is still learning the ropes and building his confidence. He's nervous in new places and shy with new people, but he warms up with patience and kindness. He's doing well with crate training and is getting the hang of leash manners. House training is a work in progress. He goes out about every 3 hours, sleeps through the night, and wears belly bands indoors for now. He has separation anxiety and will bark and howl when left alone, but he does settle eventually. Being alone is his least favourite thing.

Gregory isn't a fan of being groomed and will need to be muzzled for it, as he may try to nip. Otherwise, he's been gentle and amazing.

Gregory's ideal home:

- Someone who is home most of the time and wants a dog who always wants to be touching them

- A person happy to have him sleep in their bed

- Someone with the time and patience to continue house training and confidence building

- A quiet neighbourhood, and a house rather than a condo or apartment, due to his separation anxiety
