Sweet, gentle, and absolutely adorable - Calvin is looking for his forever home! Calvin is a loving boy who has captured hearts with his silly personality and unique little hop-skip that he does when he's happy - it's like watching someone click their heels with pure joy! His proud, happy trot on walks will make you smile every single day.

Calvin is the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. He loves being picked up and held, and once he's had his exercise, he's content to relax and sleep for good portions of the day. His gentle, sweet nature shines through in everything he does. He loves food, enrichment activities like snuffle mats, and the company of other animals!

Calvin is making excellent progress with potty training and has been accident-free for several days now! He's already crate trained and settles beautifully with some treats and patience. His leash manners are incredible - no pulling, just a happy trot alongside his human. He is currently receiving 2-3 walks of about 20 minutes each, plus some backyard time per day. He has medium energy levels and is perfectly content with this routine.

Calvin would thrive in a quieter suburban setting and does require a well balanced dog sibling. He gains confidence from having a canine buddy, especially for walks and outdoor adventures. A fenced yard would be ideal to help continue his potty training success. If you are looking for a dog that you will be able to have off leash, Calvin is not your guy. True to his breed, he will follow his nose. He would be fine with children 8+. Calvin can be startled by loud noises or sudden movements, so he does best with people who approach him calmly and give him a moment to feel secure. Once he knows you're a friend, his outgoing, friendly personality emerges. He will need a dental in the next 6 to 12 months.
